The setting of this server is in a distant future, where Humans have escaped the confines of our single Solar System, Sol, and have ventured far out into the galaxy. But Humans are, have always been, and will always be, Human. Some things are inalienable, some traits we have exhibited for thousands of years and are unlikely to lose. Our fascination with stories, and storytelling, are ingrained in us, and will persist into the 2500's.

While many stories will, due to nostalgia, marketability, or simple universal appeal, persist from the modern day of the 2000's IRL, and will surely still have some recognition and following even into the 2500's due to the advent of digital storage and active media preservation efforts that have already begun IRL, there would also be a large selection of 'original' media produced in this time.

This page exists to document names and brief summaries of various pieces of media that exist In Universe that can be referenced in addition to existing real properties, things that may be more contemporary to your characters, and more widely known. The primary focus will be on Human media, but we will include some alien as well.

Movies

  • Aladdin: Turned to Stone. An ill conceived sequel to Aladdin that attempted to soft reboot the franchise by having Aladdin cursed and turned to stone. It performed terribly, and is so bad it's good.
  • The Onslaught: 2068. Followed three different protagonists on three separate stories as they tried to survive a global outbreak of body horror meat monsters reminiscent of John Carpenter's The Thing.

Video Games

  • Grand Theft Auto: Altered Beast Edition. The product of a terrible licensing agreement between Rockstar Games and Nintendo, which tried to combine the worlds of GTA and Altered Beast. The protagonist was a gangster with a bear head who had to fight against the President of the United States, who had an eagle head.
