(lore note, from looking at the files, the elder is within the abyss section of the textures. perhaps that can be a god of theirs)

Naming conventions

Unlike many other species, Cylorite do not appear to adopt any last or family names.

Cylorite physiology

the body of a Cylorite is built from the ground of their abyssal home world giving them their wide and strong physique. Their organs appear to be made out of a mix of abyssal sludge along with a purple gemstone for a heart, reinforcing their strong body.
The eye of a Cylorite has weaker red photo-receptors causing them to have stronger nightvision which has suited them well in their dark environment.

Cylorite language

(needs writting. i'm thinking of having some of them able to comunicate normally though speach that is created from their body, along with having some require a mechanical synthisiser to speak)

Their Abyssal Home World

Abyssal planets can be found throughout the cosmos with Cylorite inhabiting most. The Abyss is a dark and damp environment containing flora and fauna that contain the colors of purple and dark blue to blend in together.
Occasional EMP storms cross thought the Abyss creating a hostile environment for electrical devices. Despite that, the Cylorite were able to harness the native material, abyssium, to create shielding to protect any electrical equipment that is created there.
